Director of Programmes (Location: Beijing), Save the Children

Save the Children works to create a better future for children. As one of the few child-focused international organisations working in China, Save the Children addresses the needs of the most marginalized children and young people through direct interventions, training programmes, research and advocacy work. We are working for Change for Children and to support the work in three main areas: Education, Health, and Child Welfare and Protection. Save the Children is now seeking a highly experienced and motivated person to become a member of Directors Group in China Programme:
Director of Programmes (Location: Beijing)
项目总监一名（工作地点：北京）
Main requirements:
A. Substantial senior management experience in a relevant field of work and knowledge of NGO work in China/ the South East and East Asia Region
B. Master Degree in relevant discipline - e.g. social sciences, health, education, development studies, management/administration
C. Knowledge and experience of strategic planning, programme development, monitoring and evaluation of development programmes and policy/ advocacy work
D. Experience of programme development and funding, including accessing and managing funds from international aid agencies and / or foundations
E. Experience of working with Government in different levels inner China
F. Great knowledge of the development work in China
G. Strong leadership, management and organisational development skills
H. Strong analytical and Strategic thinking
